Olivia Bynum

I’m interested in what makes people connect—with creators, brands, products, and each other. My experience spans creator commerce, talent management, brand consulting & strategy, and emerging technology, where I combine relationship-building with research and data to identify opportunities for growth. I’m especially drawn to work that lets me understand people, bring different perspectives together, and turn those insights into action.

Who Am I?

I've always been fascinated by the intersection of creativity, business, and human behavior. My career began in entertainment through casting, talent recruiting, and agency operations, where I learned how to recognize potential, build relationships, and understand what motivates people. Since then, that curiosity has taken me into creator commerce, marketing, and strategy, but the question behind my work has stayed the same: What do people value, and what makes them act?

Today, my work spans TikTok LIVE and TikTok Shop, creator and talent development, B2B and B2C marketing, and emerging technology. I've grown livestream audiences and sales, helped creators think through their positioning and future opportunities, and worked with executive leadership to turn customer and market research into brand, product, and growth strategies. Across each experience, I've found that I'm at my best when I can combine my ability to connect with people with a more analytical understanding of what the audience, market, and data are telling me.

Above all, I'm driven by curiosity and connection. I enjoy meeting people, asking questions, finding patterns, and bringing different perspectives together to solve problems. Whether I'm working with a creator, customer, client, or leadership team, I want to understand what matters to them and turn those insights into something actionable (whether that's a stronger relationship, a better strategy, or a new opportunity for growth).

Fun Facts!

  1. I'm a foodie who founded my high school's Caribbean Heritage Society. I implemented a multicultural potluck, bringing together all cultural clubs (Both are still going on to this day!)

  2. I competed in bodyboarding competitions as a child growing up in South Florida

  3. I LOVE rollerskating (I have a hot pink pair that gets regular use)

  4. I also love to line dance!

  5. I studied abroad in Martinique for 3 weeks, immersing myself in Francophone Caribbean culture (tout en parlant français, bien sûr)
